Irene is a registered bilingual (Spanish & English) Associate Professional Clinical Counselor #18337 who provides therapy remotely. She has experience working as a Behavioral Therapist and Associate Therapist in multiple settings, including schools (K-12) and inpatient and outpatient centers. She has experience working with prolonged grief, psychotic disorders, and postpartum depression. Her population of preference is working with adolescents, adults, and families. 

Her approach to therapy focuses on cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavioral therapy, and narrative therapy. Her main goal as a therapist is to create a safe space for her clients while helping them work through their obstacles and challenging them when needed. Her understanding of the Hispanic culture and work in low-income communities allows her to connect with her clients while providing a safe space for disclosure.
